Erode South Satellite Bus Terminus

The Erode South Satellite Bus Terminus, is a small En-route bus station in the City of Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. It is located off the Ring Road near 46-Pudur in the southern outskirt of the city.

History

The South Satellite Bus Terminus was opened to public in June 2015 as an En-route Bus stand in the southern suburb of the City, with 10 Bus Bays, commercial complex and driver Restrooms. Erode Municipal Corporation has sent a Detailed project Report to convert it as a terminating Station for South-bound buses. This project along with the Northern Satellite Bus stand near Suriyampalayam will relieve the Erode Central Bus Terminus from handling overload during peakhours. Also traffic inside the city roads will be considerably reduced.

Awaiting Upgradation

The station once made as terminating station, will cater to all south-TN bound Mofussil services. It will be put to its maximum utilisation once the 3rd phase RingRoad works gets completed.[1] [2] [3]
