Esala Weerakoon

Esala Weerakoon is a senior career diplomat. Since he joined the Sri Lanka Foreign Service in 1998, He was appointed as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India in November 2015. [1] He has served as Ambassador to Norway, High Commissioner to Seychelles, Charge dā€™ Affaires at Sri Lanka Embassies in Washington DC and in Tokyo

Weerakoon is a son of Bradman Weerakoon who served nine Sri Lankan heads of state in a career spanning half a century.
