Esmaeil Kousari (Persian: اسماعیل کوثری, born 3 March 1955) is an Iranian politician and former military commander who is the outgoing member of the Iranian parliament from Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr district. He was commander of Lashgar 27 of Revolutionary Guard Corps during Iran-Iraq war.
Since 2014, he is the head of the Iranian parliament's defense committee.[1]
