Ethan Frome is a 1993 British-American drama film directed by John Madden and starring Liam Neeson, Patricia Arquette, Joan Allen and Tate Donovan.[1] It was an adaptation of the novella Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton.
Plot
Reverend Smith has arrived in Starfield from Boston. He notices that Ethan Frome is isolated. Smith encourages his parishioners to be charitable.
Ethan and Zeena Pierce are distant cousins. After marrying Zeena, Ethan falls in love with Mattie Silver.
