Etlaerravaly is a village and panchayat in Ranga Reddy district, AP, India. It falls under Shabad mandal. The village name is also written as "Yetla Yerravalli".

History

This Village is one of the oldest compared to other villages. In earlier days the village had no particular recognization as it had no separate Gram Panchayat and was under the administration of another village named "Regadi Dosada".

There was a legend for this village named Peesari. Parandhama Reddy who was head for this village for many years. People from many villages used to come to Parandhama Reddy for justice in many issues.

Places of interest

The town contains many temples, mosques, and a church. A Neem tree located at the entrance of village which is in news for release of milk from branches several times.

Languages

The major languages spoken in Etlaerravally are Telugu. English and Hindi are occasionally used.

Crops

The place is much suitable for harvesting tomatoes. In addition, farmers grow other crops including many flowers and vegetables, as well as rice, jower, coton, and corn.

The village population is nearly 2000 as on year 2011.

Administration and politics

The village is administered by village heads and sarpanch along with ward members. Till year 2013 sarpanch elections are held six times.

Transport

This village has just the roadway and is 55 km from Hyderabad.

Water resources

This village is surrounded on three sides by lakes. The water from all lakes is suitablel for agriculture. The water from the lakes is connected to Himayatsagar in Hyderabad.
