The Algerian orange-tailed skink (Eumeces algeriensis), in French eumece d'Algérie, or in Spanish bulán, is a species of skink in the Scincidae family.[2] The species is endemic to the Maghreb region of North Africa.[2]
Geographic range
It is found in Algeria and Morocco (including the Spanish exclave Melilla).[2]
Habitat
Its natural habitats are temperate forests, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, temperate grassland, sandy shores, arable land, pastureland, plantations, and rural gardens.[2]
Reproduction
E. algeriensis is oviparous.[2]
