Eurofest 2007

Eurofest 2007 was the television show in which Belarus selected three competitors to fight for the Belarusian place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, to be held in Helsinki, Finland on 10 and 12 May 2007. As Belarus failed to qualify from the semifinal for the third time in a row in 2006, the winner had to start in the semifinal on the 10th. Eurofest was aired on 15 December 2006, and televoting selected Dmitry Koldun to go on to the superfinal, joining jury favourites Diana Gurtskaya & The Project, leaving the jury to select the winner behind closed doors. Later, Dmitry Koldun was announced winner with the song "Work your magic". The rules state, that the winner may or may not sing the entry they entered to Eurofest at the Eurovision.

Following the final held on January 22, 2007 it was announced that Dmitry Koldun would represent Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with his song "Work Your Magic". He came 6th in the competition.
