The European Medical Journal (EMJ) is an open-access, peer-reviewed medical journal.[1] Founded in 2012 as an imprint of Gorely New Media,[2] the European Medical Journal provides reviews, symposiums and developments from Europe's medical congresses. Each journal is published six weeks after its relevant congress.

The European Medical Journal currently publishes 14 medical journals per year,[3] each specialized in a therapeutic area. It currently produces journals in the following areas:

Accessibility

The European Medical Journal currently publishes its journals through its website and through its App. In accordance with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, the EMJ is entirely open-access.[4] It also runs a daily newsletter providing the latest medical news.[5] In June 2013 EMJ entered into partnership with ViroChannel to bring greater video content to new EMJ journals.[6]
