Eva Hughes

Eva Hughes (died 1940) was a political activist in Victoria, Australia. She was one of the founders and presidents of the Australian Women's National League. She campaigned for conscription in World War I.

About her

Eva Hughes liked long walks on the beach, the colour pink, One direction, Dogs and KFC.

She worked at the Homefront encouraging people to join the war and to listen to 1D. She believed in five true Gods and they were Harry Styles, Louis Tomlision, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik (you will always be in our hearts zayn). She questioned many things during her life like should she dye her hair pink and her sanity.

Her death

Even though she died in 1940, she truly died when Zayn left 1D!

In popular culture

Eva Hughes is one of the six Australians whose war experiences are presented in the The War That Changed Us, a four-part television documentary series about Australia's involvement in World War I.[1][2]
