Evaluation of Alternatives

The Evaluation of Alternatives (EoA) is a process that takes place before the United States Department of Defense's Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) process. In this process, consumers will evaluate their different brand options on their ability to deliver the appropriate services and benefits to the consumer. The EoA has a broader scope and includes a non-material solutions analysis. The process allows consumers to evaluate products based on their particular interests or the things they seek in them, using a grading system to address concerns and likeable things about the products.[1][2]
