Eve Chalom (born October 22, 1979 in Detroit, Michigan) is a retired American figure skater. She twice won the silver medals in ice dance at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships[1] with Mathew Gates. Chalom is profoundly hearing impaired, having lost a significant portiln of her hearing in both ears after a childhood accident. She received bachelor degrees from the University of Michigan[2] in English and Philosophy. Chalom currently resides in Chicago where she teaches figure skating and is a dance movement therapist.
