Evenes Church (Norwegian: Evenes kirke) is a parish church in the municipality of Evenes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Evenes, along the northern shore of the Ofotfjorden. The church is part of the Evenes parish in the Ofoten deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1800 to replace an earlier church on the same site. The site has been home to a church since the year 1250 when Håkon Håkonson established a church in Ofoten. The present church is built in a Danish manor style with a Mansard roof. It seats about 500 people.[1]
