Every Elvis Has His Impersonators: 7 Homemade Remade Elvis Costello Songs is the fifth official release credited to antifolk music group Elastic No-No Band and their second EP, although all of the music is played and sung by the group's leader, Justin Remer.[1] It is the first Elastic No-No Band release to not feature other performers besides Remer since 2005. Like the band's first EP, The Meow Bits, this release is issued only as a digital download.
As the title suggests, all the songs are cover versions of songs originally performed by Elvis Costello. The title is a play on the concept of an Elvis impersonator and the phrase "Every Elvis has his army," which is taken from the lyrics of Costello's song "Episode of Blonde".[2]
