Evi Reçi

Evi Reçi (Durrës, 30 April 1990) is an Albanian singer.[1]

Biography

Reçi was born in Durrës, Albania but she never lived in Albania. When she was just 2 years old her parents moved to Greece and Evi grew up in Athens. Later she chose Italy for her university studies so she graduated from the University of Florence in Communication, Media and Journalism. Her mother is a cellist and music teacher ( the one how gave her the love for music ). Her father is a biochemist. She is an only child. She studied classical piano and opera and meanwhile she performed in different choirs and as soloist in many festivals and competitions.

Career

Her pop music career began with sv:Top Fest 4 where her song "Me ty pa ty" was selected among the 10 best of the festival.

She participated on Kënga Magjike 2007 where she was nominated for best dance song with "Zjarr i harruar". On Kënga Magjike 2008 she sang "Enderr e etur". On Kënga Magjike 2009 she won the Television Award with the song "Jeton tek ti" by Flori Mumajesi with lyrics by the talented journalist Fjodora Fjora. She also has collaborated with the also well - known Albanian composer Adrian Hila.

In 2010, she produced her first music video in duet with Flori Mumajesi called "I ngjan asaj".

In December 2010, she released another song written by Mumajesi and the video called Dhe Jemi Te Dy, with the group Agronom. This video was nominated in 3 categories: Best female interpretation, Best video camera' and finally Best editing and montage video, winning the latter.

She sang "Whatever Dream", the main theme of the Italian film L.over.S, a song written by Francesco Traversi. After this performance the Italian channel, RAI TG1, broadcast this video presenting her as an artist to "keep an eye on".

In 2013 she released a video called Zhdukem ngadale of a Mumajesi tune as though, filmed in Florence. The direction and the script were by Joni Baci Alizoti with the technical support of the A50 group.

Since 2012 she is part of Radio Fleur in Florence where she has her own show, called World Music.

Another 2013 hit for was "Si Limonade". A song that was a summer hit and brought her even a bigger fame around the country and Kosovo.

She is identified from the public as the singer with the sweet voice and the romantic style.
