Executive Order 13492 is an Executive Order issued by United States President Barack Obama ordering the closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, in Cuba.[1] The full title of the order is: Executive Order 13492 - Review and Disposition of Individuals Detained at the Guantánamo Bay Naval Base and Closure of Detention Facilities.
In Executive Order 13493 Obama ordered the identification of alternate venues for the detainees.[2]
