Experimental Physiology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of The Physiological Society. It was established in 1908 as The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Physiology and is now published monthly. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2014 impact factor is 2.669.
Experimental Physiology publishes articles in most areas of physiology, especially papers that deal with both physiological and pathophysiological questions that investigate gene/protein function using molecular, cellular, and whole-animal approaches.
