Exploroo is a free-access travel related social network website that is operated and privately owned by Exploroo Pty Ltd. Users can add travel stories or videos and review photos and articles which are all related to travel around the globe. Travel agents can also join and connect with travellers. It has been mentioned in newspapers, such as The Cairns Post and by journalist Ben Blomfield.[1]

Exploroo was first launched on 12 May 2009 by Chief Executive Officer Frank Guerra and Chief Operating Officer Daniel Lew. The name Exploroo was coined as a portmanteau of explore and with the native Australian animal kangaroo.
Features
The platform offers user profile generation, travel advice, and other common social networking features. Members can blog travel experiences as well as ask and answer travel questions in a travel forum. Photo sets can be added and travel related videos can be uploaded. Exploroo members can also access world news and sport updates.
