Exxodus Pictures is a Detroit based American film production company founded by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad and Richard Mandell. The company produces films and television programming.[1]

History

Exxodus Pictures was founded in 2008 by film director Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad with Richard Mandell who is also CEO of One Reverse Mortgage and minority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.[2][3] The company made its debut in April 2014 by an action-horror-thriller film Jinn.[4]

Initiatives

In March 2015, Exxodus Pictures received $1.3 million in tax incentives from the state of Michigan to film three made-in-Michigan movies which includes "My Soul to Keep," "Swish Master," and "Golem."[5][6][7]
