The FC Dallas Development Academy is the official youth system for Major League Soccer franchise, FC Dallas. The club fields an array of youth teams ranging from the U-18/Reserve team side down to the ranks of camps for youth soccer players around the age of 10.
Structure
The FC Dallas Development Academy is structured into three individual tiers, ranging from reserve players to the senior roster down to pre-development academy camps.
The main development academy consists of the U-18 and U-16 teams, which compete in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy league, which has been an active league since 2009.
The next tier is the pre-academy, which is expected to compete in U.S. Youth Soccer's upcoming 2011–12 season. This will include the U-15, U-14 and U-13 teams.
