FC Voluntari
FC Voluntari is a Romanian professional football club from Voluntari, Ilfov County, Romania, founded in 2010. In 2015, the team promoted to Liga I for the first time in their history.
History
Early years
On the 2012–13 season of Liga IV, they finished second and promoted to the next league Liga III. This time they won the 2013–14 Liga III and promoted again to the next level Liga II. On Liga II they did a good run, defeating Romanian football legends team like Farul Constanța and CF Brăila, also they qualified to the promotion play-offs to Liga I from the first place.
Major leagues
At the end of 2014–15 Liga II, they won the promotion play-offs and promoted for the first time in the club history to the first romanian league. The greatest performance in their short history. They debuted with a draw against CSMS Iași.
Stadium
The club plays its home matches on Stadionul Anghel Iordănescu in Voluntari.
