The Firm

Fenox Venture Capital was founded by Vitaliy Arbuzov[1] and Anis Uzzaman[2] in 2011. Fenox VC works with emerging technology companies worldwide and has been serving as a bridge for global startups seeking entry into American, Asian,[3] European and Middle Eastern markets.

Fenox provides seed, series A and later rounds of funding and focuses its investments on IT, health IT, consumer Internet, cloud, big data, mobile, social, payment systems and next-generation technologies.

The firm has networks in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia to bridge Silicon Valley with entrepreneurial environments worldwide. In the United States, Fenox has venture partners located on the East Coast and in the Midwest. Fenox has presence in Eastern Europe, Israel and Dubai, as well as branches in Asia, including Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan.

Investments

In December 2015, Fenox led a $16 million investment in Jibo.[4] This investment was seen as a push from Jibo to start expanding globally. In February 2016, the firm led an investment in agriculture IoT company Edyn.[5] The investment in Edyn was another event in Fenox establishing itself as a key investor and supporter of American technology startups aspiring to grow globally.

Structure

The firm is structured differently from most venture capital firms, the key difference coming from the source of its capital. Fenox raises its capital primarily from large corporations globally.[6][7][8][9] The firm focused on investing in technology startups and supporting their growth internationally by facilitating partnerships between its investors and portfolio.
