The 2017 FIBA Africa Championship for Men will be the 29th continental basketball championship in Africa. The tournament will be organised by FIBA Africa.

As of August 2015, the host had not been selected.^[1] In March 2016, the hosting rights were awarded to the Republic of Congo.
