Personal life

Fabio Mancini was born in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany and moved to Milan, Italy when he was four years old.[11] His father is of Italian descent while his mother is of Indian and Italian descent. He currently lives in Milan.

Modelling career

Mancini’s modelling career started at the age of 23, when he was discovered on the streets of Milan. He is one of the first Italian model who walked for Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani during his first fashion show season. Mancini eventually became, for several years, the face of different Armani lines including: Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans.[8] He has walked for numerous designers including Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria, Vivienne Westwood, Dirk Bikkembergs, Marithé et François Girbaud,[12] Ermanno Scervino, Brioni and many more.

Mancini has also walked for Rocco Barocco during Milan Women's Fashion Week Spring 2015.[13] In February 2016, during the Milan Women's Fashion week, he was one of the few men chosen to accompany female models walking on the catwalk at Emporio Armani show and opening the Giorgio Armani show.[14][9]

Throughout his modelling career, Mancini has worked in advertising campaigns for Armani Jeans, Emporio Armani Underwear[15]Carolina Herrera,[16] Aigner, Carlo Pignatelli[17] Vince Camuto,[18] Pierre Cardin and L'Oréal. He has graced magazine covers including Hachi Magazine and David Magazine and has also shot high fashion editorials for Harper's Bazaar, Men's Health and Vogue.[19]

In 2014, after several Armani Jeans Campaigns,[20] Armani launched a new underwear line, the Emporio Armani underwear Sensual Collection directed by Andrea Dones, where Fabio became the face of the line for two seasons in a row. A video was also made and used to represent the icon tribute to the body for Giorgio Armani 40th Anniversary #ATTRIBUTE TO THE BODY N”20/40.[10][15]

Mancini is the new ambassador for Pierre Cardin Underwear Collection 2016.[21]
