Fabrice Simon (January 29, 1951 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti – July 29, 1998 in New York City[1]) was an award-winning artist and fashion designer, best known for his handmade beaded dresses.

He emigrated to America in 1964, and subsequently attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. He won a special Coty Award in 1981.[1]

His clientele included many celebrities, among them Cornelia Guest.[1]

He died from AIDS.
