Fairfood International

Fairfood International is a non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam which advocates for a sustainable and fair global food system.[1] It was founded in 2000 by Eelco Fortuijn. Anselm Iwundu was the Executive Director of Fairfood International from August 2011 until June 2015. In the first half of 2015, the organisation's three Directors, including Anselm Iwundu and Eelco Fortuijn who had returned to Fairfood as Director of Advocacy, left their posts, with the leadership of the organisation taken over on an interim basis by Board member Maxine Tillij.

About the Organisation & Finances

Fairfood employs approximately 30 staff, and a number of volunteers. In 2013, Fairfood International had a global revenue of €2,306,487 - 47% of this revenue comes from the Dutch Government.
