Fairmont Austin

Fairmont Austin is a residential skyscraper under construction in Austin, Texas. Proposed at 595 ft tall, it will rise to surpass the 360 Condominiums and take the title as the second tallest building in Austin's skyline, right behind The Austonian. Manchester Texas Financial Group has secured financing to build the 1,066-room convention hotel in Austin, and is now under construction. Ground breaking for the project occurred on November 3rd, 2014. The hotel, at 1.4 million square feet, will be the largest Fairmont hotel in the world, according to Fairmont's American operations President Kevin Frid. The hotel will also feature a skyway connection to the Austin Convention Center. [1]
