Faisal Hashmi (Gujarati: ફૈસલ હાશમી) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his film Vitamin She.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] Faisal drew inspiration for Vitamin She from his personal life experiences.

Life

Faisal Hashmi was born in Palanpur. He completed his B.E. (Mechanical) from Jaipur, Rajasthan. He was attracted to films from his early childhood. He grew up watching lots of films and movies from different parts of world. He made his debut feature film titled Vitamin She which is going to release in summer 2016. In an interview given to TV9 Gujarat,[8][9][10] he stated that; "I observe the world. Reality fascinates me sometimes and I tell the stories, which I found interesting, which affected my life. It is my responsibility as a filmmaker, to tell those stories which are honest and not biased."
