The Falmouth Memorial Library is the public library serving Falmouth, Maine.[1] The library is a private non-profit organization; approximately 75% of its budget is taxpayer-funded.[2]
Opened in 1952, the library currently occupies the Iverson House, formerly a private residence (built in 1908).[3] An addition, doubling the library's size, was constructed in 1995.[2] Another expansion to the library was planned and voted on in November 2014. However, the expansion was denied due to the need of acquiring more land. [4]
