Falstaff Awards
The Falstaff Awards, founded in 2007, are presented annually in 15 categories for excellence in Shakespeare performance, writing, and scholarship.

- Best Principal Performance, Male
- Best Principal Performance, Female
- Best Supporting Performance, Male
- Best Supporting Performance, Female
- Best Director
- Best Scenic Design
- Best Sound Design or Original Score
- Best Lighting Design
- Best Costume Design
- Best Choreography or Fight Direction
- Best Script Adaptation/Dramaturgy
- Best Film or DVD
- Best Book, Publication, or Recording
Additionally, PlayShakespeare.com awards the Lear Award for Lifetime Achievement each year to an individual that has made an extraordinary contribution to the world of Shakespeare over the course of their lifetime.[1]
