Having experienced the deep love and warmth from her adoptive parents and stepbrother, Zheng Weilun (Terence Cao), Shuyang still yearns to marry despite past hurts and disappointments. Her stepbrother, Weilun, has been trying to woo Shuyang but to no avail, because Shuyang has no feelings for him at all because she only has an eye for Gao Ming.
