Family Relations (Russian: Родня) is a 1981 Soviet drama film directed by Nikita Mikhalkov.[1]
Plot
Rural women Mariya Konovalova (Nonna Mordyukova) goes to the regional center to visit daughter Nina (Svetlana Kryuchkov), and beloved granddaughter Irishka (Fedor Stukov). A good and simple-minded woman can not imagine what kind of world are living it the most expensive and, perhaps, the only people close to her. Trying to deal with their ideas about rural life in the difficult relationship with her daughter's ex-husband, she brings them to himself a lot of grief.
