Family Theater Productions

Family Theater Productions is a film, television and radio production company founded by Father Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., a priest of the Congregation of the Holy Cross. As an offshoot of his Family Rosary Crusade, the production facility produced in the 1940s-1950s radio and film programming for family entertainment which was sometimes of an explicitly Catholic nature, drawing many of the big names in Hollywood of the era. One such program was Family Theater which aired from 1947 to 1957 as a staple on the now defunct Mutual Broadcasting System (MBS). That series, now digitally remastered, airs on Radio Maria (USA) on Sunday afternoons, and on EWTN and Immaculate Heart Radio in the nighttime. Headquarters is at 7201 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90046, U.S.A.

Family Theater and the Family Rosary Crusade are part of a global evangelization network, the Holy Cross Family Ministries. This is a ministry of the Congregation of Holy Cross.
