Far Young

FarYoung is an international vocal group. The band members are Jackson Owens,[1] Eben Franckewitz,[2] and Jack Taylor.

Members

Jackson Owens

Jackson Owens is from Turangi, New Zealand, and was born on November 5, 1997. Jackson was born into a musical family and competed on a singing competition called New Zealand's Got Talent. At age 12, he was chosen to represent New Zealand at the World Championship of Performing Arts at Los Angeles. There, he won a gold medal, two silver medals, and was named "Best Overall Boy Vocal: Junior Section 8-15 years old". He was also the opening act for "Australian Idol" winner Stan Walker on his nationwide winner's tour.[3] Now, he is now a vocalist in FarYoung, chosen by Tim Coons after seeing his YouTube covers.[4]

Eben Frankewitz

Eben Frankewitz is from Cincinnati, Ohio and was born on June 13, 1996. He started singing at the age of 6 and competed in the 2012 American Idol season.[5] Getting to the top 24 contestants, the youngest person ever to make it that far, he was eliminated after singing "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele. Then, in 2013, Eben released 2 singles - "TXT"[6] and "Let The Beat Drop".[7] Later, he performed at a Cincinnati Reds' Opening Night game and starred in "Santa's Toy Factory" at the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati for a holiday musical.

Jack Taylor

Jack Taylor is from Wales, United Kingdom. After building a large following on YouTube, he was asked to join FarYoung. He was born on December 24, 1994 and is the oldest member of FarYoung.

Career

FarYoung has been touted to be the next "billion dollar boy band".[8] The group officially started in early 2014, created by original Backstreet Boys' music producer Tim Coons, and also Steve Miller, Founder & CEO of Highwinds, a global content delivery network for media & entertainment companies based in Orlando, Florida (USA).
