Farah Zeynep Abdullah (born 17 August 1989) is an Turkish actress.

Life and career

Farah was born on 17 August 1989, in Istanbul, Turkey. Her mother, Gülay, is Turkish origin and her father, Osman, is of Iraqi Turkmen origin. Her secondary education was spent at the Lycée Français Saint Michel in Istanbul until her family moved to London where her father worked.[1] During her studies at the University of Kent, Abdullah was offered a role in the Turkish soap opera Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki in 2010.[2] By 2013, she appeared in Yilmaz Erdogan's film Kelebeğin Rüyası ("The Butterfly’s Dream") which was selected by the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism as Turkey's candidate film for the 2014's Academy Awards.[3][4] In 2014 Abdullah starred alongside Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ in the Turkish soap opera Kurt Seyit ve Şura; in the same year she also starred in the Turkish film Bi Küçük Eylül Meselesi.
