Fareedabad
Fareedabad (فريدآباد)
Fareedabad (فريدآباد) is a model village of Talka Thari Mirwah District Khairpur in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is located in Upper Sindh and is an important village of Thari Mirwah Tehsil. It is situated 5 km north from Thari Mirwah Tehsil, and 12 km away from Kumb - Nawabshah (Mehran Highway) Road. Its population is approximately over three thousand persons.
Residents of Fareedabad, popularly called as "Saiflani", its sub caste of Shar (tribe), are highly educated having almost 90% literacy rate. 85% of the population including females have government jobs. There is one High School for boys & girls, & four Middle Schools one of them for girls, and there are more than ten primary schools. Several persons are doing their jobs in UK, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Malaysia, Dubai and other countries. They are highly qualified; some of them hold PhD degrees in science.
There is a functional welfare organization named RSWA (Rasoolpur Social Welfare Association at Fareedabad).
