Farra d'Alpago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Belluno in the Italian region Veneto, located about 80 km (50 mi) north of Venice and about 12 km (7.5 mi) east of Belluno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,787 and an area of 41.2 km².[1]
Geography
Farra d'Alpago borders the following municipalities: Belluno, Fregona, Ponte nelle Alpi, Puos d'Alpago, Tambre, Vittorio Veneto, and is on the coast of the Lago di Santa Croce.
It counts 12 hamlets (frazioni): Buscole, Campon, Lastra, Pian Cansiglio, Pian Osteria, Pianture, Poiatte, Santa Croce, Spert, Tomas, Villaggio Riviera and Villanova.
