Fatmir Vata (born 20 September 1971 in Rrëshen, Albania) is an Albanian former footballer who last played as a midfielder or supporting striker for Wuppertaler SV.
Career
Albanian Footballer of the Year in 2004, he is equally skilled with both feet and an excellent dribbler and passer of the ball, and has established himself as a key player for his club, despite being plagued by knee injuries.
International career
Vata made 17 appearances for the Albania national football team from 1996 to 2002.[2]
