Fauda (فوضى; means Chaos in Arabic) is an Israeli political thriller television series developed by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff and based on their experiences during their military service in a Mista'arvim unit. It premiered on February 15, 2015. The series has received generally positive reviews.
Plot
The series tells the story of Doron, Commander in Mista'arvim team and his people that try to catch an arch-terrorist named Taufiq Khammed, of Hamas, known as Abu Akhmed and "The Panther".
Filming
The first season of the series was filmed in Kafr Qasim, during Operation Protective Edge.
Reception
Critical response
The first season received nationwide acclaim, and was praised as one of the best Israeli TV Series.

The series premiered on February 15, 2015, on Yes.
