Faux Pause was an American television program that aired in 1998 on Game Show Network. Co-hosted by Mary Gallagher and Sean Donnellan, Pause consisted of jokes and skits done while watching certain episodes of game shows, in a similar fashion to Mystery Science Theater 3000.

In a 2013 Facebook post, future Street Smarts host Frank Nicotero, who wrote for the show, said that there were a total of 22 episodes.[1]

Reception

Reception towards Faux Pause was poor, with Time Magazine's Joel Stein calling the show "stunningly bad", as well as the rest of GSN's original programming at the time.[2]
