Faye McClelland

Faye McClelland (born 3 November 1979 in Ruislip, London) is a British Triathlete, competing in Paratriathlon events worldwide, in PT4 category for the Great Britain team.[1] McClelland is currently the ITU World Champion in her classification, having won the World Title for the last four consecutive years.[2] She also finished 2nd in the 2014 European Championship[3] after consecutively retaining the Championship titles between 2010 - 2012. McClelland is coached by Glenn Cook[4] and trains with members of Team Bodyworks XTC[5] based at the University of Brighton located in Eastbourne Sussex. She is aiming to compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Awards and Honours

Outside of Triathlon

McClelland is a qualified physiotherapist and attained her honours at the University of Brighton in the summer of 2013. In January 2014, McClelland and Wes Mechen started a business, Tempo Running Shop, in Eastbourne East Sussex.[22]
