Felicity Landon is an English freelance journalist specialising in global maritime, industry and logistics.[1] She is based near Stowmarket, in Suffolk. Landon works as a feature writer, reporter, columnist, editor and proofreader. She has been working in the maritime sector for 20 years.[2]

Early life

Landon grew up in Essex, where she attended New Hall School, near Chelmsford. She went on to study journalism at Harlow College.

Career

Landon worked for the East Anglian Daily Times before becoming a freelance journalist. She has worked in the maritime sector since 1990. She now writes regularly for publications such as Port Strategy, Lloyd's List and Industry Europe. Other projects have included a commemorative book to celebrate the centenary of Dunlop Aircraft Tyres.

Awards

Landon was named Supply Chain Journalist of the Year at the 2012 Seahorse Club Journalism Awards. She was previously awarded runner-up status in the "Journalist of the Year" category by the same club in 2009.[3][4]
