Feliksas Jakubauskas

Feliksas Jakubauskas (born October 14, 1949 in Liepāja) is a Lithuanian textile artist.[1][2]

Biography

In 1974-1976, he studied textiles at the Lithuanian Institute of Art, 1976–1980, and at The Budapest Academy of Applied Arts. In 1981-1989, he worked as an artist of individual designers clothing factory, "daisy" in Vilnius.

Works

Weaving of wool and silk mixed technique, coupled with gobeleninį weaving twill, characterized by warm and cold subtle color combinations, there is a greyish silvery tones, blemishes and pictorial graphic expression connection.

Major works

Since 1980, he has shown in more than 170 exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.
