Career

Born in Muçum, Gedoz made his professional debut for Defensor Sporting of the Uruguayan Primera División on 15 September 2012 against Liverpool. He came on as a 71st-minute substitute for Aníbal Hernández as Sporting won the match 2–0.[1] He then scored his first professional goal on 25 August 2013 in a league match against Peñarol. His strike in the 47th minute gave Sporting a 1–0 lead but in the end the side only managed a 1–1 draw.[2] Gedoz then scored his second goal of the season on 6 October 2013 against Cerro Largo. It was the first of two goals to be scored by Sporting as they came back from 2–0 down to draw 2–2.[3]

Gedoz then scored his first career double on 7 November 2013 against Nacional. His 80th and 90th-minute strikes helped Sporting to an emphatic 5–3 victory for Defensor Sporting.[4] Gedoz then scored the first of eleven goals in a 6–5 loss on 24 November against Rentistas.[5]

Then, after a two-month season break, Gedoz scored his first goal of 2014 on 19 February against Real Garcilaso in the Copa Libertadores. His 46th-minute strike being the second of four goals scored by Defensor Sporting as his side won 4–1.[6] Gedoz then exploded into amazing form between 2 March and 11 March, scoring four goals in three matches. He then scored against Cruzeiro again a couple weeks later in the return leg as Defensor Sporting this time drew with the Brazilian club 2–2.[10]

On 27 August 2014, he signed for Club Brugge in Belgium.[11]
