Fernando Carvallo (born September 24, 1948 in Santiago, Chile) is a former Chilean footballer and actually a football manager.

Manager career

Carvallo's first coaching experience was 1990 [1] when he coached the first team of Universidad Católica for a short time.In 1996 he was signed again as the coach of the team and wins the 1997 Apertura.He lefts the club in 1999 and retires from coaching,but in 2002 is signed as coach of Palestino.Later,he coaches Unión Española and loses the final of 2004 Apertura with Cobreloa.Returns to Palestino in 2005 and again to Unión Española in 2006.In 2007,he replaces José del Solar in the UC,but after an irregular campaign with the team, he quits off his job and is replaced by Mario Lepe.
