Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer

The Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer is an annual event hosted by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, held in Chicago, Illinois in November. Started in 2003, the festival is the United States' first and largest beer festival dedicated to the art of wood and barrel aging.[1] The festival allows the public to sample many rare beers and also hosts the National Wood Aged Beer Competition where a panel of industry experts award medals to beers in ten different categories.
