Filodes xanthalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Hampson in 1898. It is found in New Guinea (Papua New Guinea, D'Entrecasteaux Islands, Trobriand Islands).[1]
The wingspan is about 40 mm. The forewings are orange-yellow with a fuscous costal area. The terminal area is fuscous from two-thirds of the costa to the inner margin near the tornus. The hindwings have a terminal fuscous line.[2]
