Finland Proper (electoral district)

Finland Proper (formerly Turku Province South) is an electoral district represented in the Finnish Eduskunta (parliament). It covers the administrative region of Southwest Finland, with a population of 450,968 (as of 2002). Finland Proper currently elects 17 members of the Eduskunta.

The constituency is largely urban, centred on the cities of Turku and Salo. The largest party in elections since 1999 has been centre-right National Coalition.
