First Financial Bank (Ohio)
First Financial Bancorp (NASDAQ: FFBC) is a regional bank headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, with its operations center in the northern Cincinnati, Tri-County area. Founded in 1863, First Financial has the eighth oldest national bank charter and has 110 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, and throughout Indiana. First Financial acquired Irwin Financial Corp and its subsidiaries through a government assisted transaction on September 18, 2009. As of June 30, 2013, the Company had $6.3 billion in assets, $4.0 billion in loans, $4.8 billion in deposits and $695 million in shareholders' equity. The Company's subsidiary, First Financial Bank, N.A., founded in 1863, provides banking and financial services products through its three lines of business: commercial, retail and wealth management. The commercial and retail units provide traditional banking services to business and consumer clients. First Financial Wealth Management provides wealth planning, portfolio management, trust and estate, brokerage and retirement plan services and had approximately $2.5 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2013. In 2007, First Financial Bank rebranded with the help of branding company Stealing Share, complete with new logo and theme ("Another step on the path to success").[1]
