First Guaranty Bank

First Guaranty Bancshares (commonly known as (First Guaranty Bank or FGB) was founded in 1934 in Hammond, Louisiana, as Guaranty Bank & Trust Company.

As of 2011 December 31 First Guaranty Bank operated 21 branches with total assets of $1.4 billion. Although most prominent in Tangipahoa Parish, First Guaranty serves communities throughout southeast, southwest, and north Louisiana.

Guaranty Bank Building in Hammond's Historic District, now a Paris Parker Aveda Salon owned by Neill Corporation. This was the location of First Guaranty Bank when it was Guaranty Bank & Trust Company.

First Guaranty Bank's focus is to serve small towns and communities in selected markets throughout Louisiana and surrounding areas.

The CEO of First Guaranty Bank is Alton B. Lewis. The President of First Guaranty Bank is Michael R. Sharp.[1]
