First Presbyterian Day School or FPD is a private college-preparatory Christian school in Macon, Georgia, United States. It was founded in 1970 as a project of First Presbyterian Church in Macon.

The school has about 1000 students from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade.[1] In 2013 FPD opened a satellite campus, FPD Downtown, at First Presbyterian Church.[2] The school colors are red and black and the school mascot is the Viking.

FPD is a member of Christian Schools International,[1] of the Georgia High School Association and of the College Board. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Athletics

From the fall of 2010 FPD competed in the Georgia High School Association. 2010 was its last year in the Georgia Independent School Association.[3]

Academics

The Elementary School was named a national Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education in 2003, and the Middle School was named a national Blue Ribbon School in 2012.[4]
